Riding Cross Country
Here is a focused horse and rider combination galloping through the water complex at Fitches Corner Event last weekend. Practice at home so that when you are on course you do not encounter any problems. One common fault is that the rider does not ride with confidence. If you have any fear at all do not attempt this sport. No matter how you analyze your riding, you must always remember that there is an element of danger inherent in riding. However, you can greatly reduce the possibility of accidents by developing into a balanced confident fit rider. There is nothing more exhilerating than a clean cross country round on a confident talented horse.
